I'm sure some might be put off but I'd like to think most people on here are genuine and friendly and would see the whole person and not just the body. My experience would go for the genuine side.

Im sorry you have to go through this. Id hope people would be grown up about it, it shouldnt make a difference to the person you are.
Ive just had my first mammogram, age related, waiting for results, Im not actually scared because work and stuff is too busy to have time to think about it, but hoping for good results.

Health is more important than a booby. However i am sure that no one would really be bothered, people have cosmetic surgery on their breasts all the time for non medical reasons and i dont think it would put off too many people.
And if someone doesnt like it, bollocks to them.

Wear your battle scars with pride. You're kicking cancers arse. Confidence is a big attraction and see your reconstruction as a two finger salute that yes you might've had to had your breast removed but your getting a pair back that aren't gonna try and kill you. I take my bloody hat off to you.

We met a lady that had a reconstruction. She had no nipples and seemed a bit self conscious. We made sure she knew how beautiful we thought she was.

Been through it myself and have had the greatest fun over several years on fab.
No-one has ever made fun of me, refused to have sex with me or seen me as anything less than feminine (which was my biggest worry).
