It's only unappealing to those that wish to meet under 50's
Sure there are plenty of people who don't mind meeting an over 50's guy. Granted there won't be as many people out there for you but rather than concentrating on those who won't interest you or don't want you, why not work on your positives and what you can offer people who might want to meet you.
