Had my first timewaster experience today. Someone I've met and had fun/shared pics and movies of us playing. So she was going to come play at lunchtime, but then nothing, was going to come this evening - then nothing. Disappeared off fab, can't ring her. Not a nice experience but such is life. Just disappointed in a total wasted day I could have been doing other stuff |

She has already met you so that makes her a timewaster??
Maybe something happened to make her delete her profile? Or maybe she just decided shed had enough of here...not nice to make assumptions. .or naming and shaming on your profile! |

It's infinitely worse to be messed around like that. She was a no show, so is correctly described as a timewaster. |

If it's the person he's naming and shaming on his profile then she hasn't deleted and we only have one side of the story as is always the case in these matters and why it'll never be allowed... |

Such is life yet you start a thread and moan about it onhour status. Me thinks the man doth protest too much lol
It is annoying, but i guessing reaffirms the fact that a friend on here is not really a friend. Yes there are exceptions to the rule but the majority are only friends whilst you are serving a purpose or until they get bored or caught out or something.
She should have messaged you to wxplainthat she wasn't coming bit if it was me and she didn't show for lunch I'd have gone.out and.done something with my day rather than sit and wait for her. |

P
Technically she is a time waster; however we don't know what made her took the action she did and we only one side of the story.
OP: by naming and shaming on your profile won't do you any favours; I would think twice of responding to any messages or meeting you. |

I totally agree however, not nice op to name another user in your status however frustrating it is. |

I waste too much time on here.... It is annoying when a meet just doesn't turn up with no message. It only happened to me once and I know the sly couple are back on the site. Different name...slightly different and younger ages even...but they didn't block me so I saw they had the same photos. I'm glad now I didn't meet them but I was pissed off at the time. |

If she hasn't deleted and he can't see her profile she's blocked him. Wasted his time pretending she was going to meet him then instead doing the decent thing and saying sorry I don't want to do this, she blocked. Of course it must be something he's done, women don't do that kind of thing for nothing do they. Even if he had said something to put her off, what's stopping her from speaking out? Fear of being stalked? Fear of death threats? |

Keep your hair on sweet pea...I haven't speculated on anything, all I've said is that we only have one side of the story here...We may never know exactly what has gone on, nor should we but it's a perfect illustration of why naming and shaming even in a sneaky underhanded way should never be allowed
Case in point over the weekend on a thread where the couple accused of time wasting came onto to thread outing them and put their side of the story and made the op look a right knob |

Sounds like a timewaster to me, sadly I can't see his profile so can't comment on the naming and shaming. However you say you're coming to see someone during the day then say it'll be the evening and still don't show you're a time waster. Weird when they already met, he doesn't say what sort of fun they'd had before, maybe this time it was going to be all the way and she bottled it? |

Never fails to amaze me the time and effort folk waste talking about timewasters and wasted time.
what's the point? We all know it happens, but relating an experience isn't going to put an end to it.stop wasting time on timewasters. |

we had one like this. Me and my girl took a trip to Cambridge.
But, we booked for the weekend. We went on a boat trip, saw a show and went all around town. It was beautiful!
So we figured if it'd have happened, it would've been a plus. But it didn't, so. Meh. We got a nice trip instead. |

It doesn't sound like a timewaster just someone with a serious issue if they resorted to deleting. Nice to know you are the sort of person who sees it as you not getting your leg over rather than worrying about what made her delete. |

How come it sounds like someone with a serious issue and why on earth should the OP be stressing over what made her delete? Could it be because the OP is a single male...I've had similar with a bloke I met once and arranged to meet again although he disappeared from the site prior to the date we'd arranged to meet, he went without so much as a tata...if we'd been in communication up to the day and he'd strung me on then I'd consider him a timewaster and certainly wouldn't waste any further time wondering what "serious issues" made him leave...
OP...as you say, such is life, hope you make the most of the rest of your day |

No shows with no explanation = timewaster.
That's the accepted understanding.
Make sure you report the profile. |

It seems not only has he wasted his time moaning about what he cannot change, he's having a time out for naming the person in question. Why? What's the point in getting in trouble over a time waster? |

When you re arranged lunchtime to the evening , did you ask her for the reason for changing
