Just a quick question.

Have many of you found that people will message you and then block you. Just curious as I don't really understand the point of it.

Thanks as always for your brutal honesty. ??

you may not have replied quickly enough for them, some expect others to jump through hoops for a meet.

Its usually because the conversation is leading no where, general chit chat that either isn't interesting or questions that have been answered in our profile so proves that it hasn't been read

I understand that but what I said was they have sent a message then before I have replied they have blocked me.

^^This!! A friend showed me her massages once and was unbelievable the amount of sh*te that they get. She found doing this was best way as some tards seem to message again. Glad us men don't have the same issue!

I'd go with fat fingers accidentally blocking you

I suppose it depends on what message they send you. I usually block after sending a 'no thanks' message to save any abusive message back. X

Totally understand that. But when it's them initiating the conversation.

Could be fat fingers as someone else said or it could be that they're just a bit bonkers

I think its largely that women and couples can afford to be rude on this site, so many men they can just take their pick. I have never been rude or nasty, I also take 'no' for an answer, along with never messaging a second time if I haven't had a response, but have still been blocked a few times.

I wouldn't let it bug you.

There's bugger all you can do about it, so just put more effort into those that deserve it

We only block when they have messaged us in the past or when we say that they are not suitable and they reply asking why

Are you saying a block in response to a message is rude? Or do you mean an actual rude reply in words?

I've accidentally blocked people I am messaging as the block is next to reply on my phone. But that can't happen with a first message, so I will go with 'just because they can'. Some people do weird things, but look on the bright side, you wouldn't want to meet someone that odd anyway

If it was a couple one person may have sent a message that the other person disagrees with?
