meet but not for me?!?i

I arranged to meet sum1 we swopped pics etc n met up
When i saw him in flesh he wasnt like pic much n wasnt really my type
I politely told him this and the situation didnt feel right to me and deeply opolgised!
Was i in wrong? Surely i shudnt of gone thru wiv any kind of sex as he seems to think i shud of as im now a timewaster?! |

Happend to me a cpl of weeks ago .
When i arrived the lady didnt look much like her pics and the house was very untidy so in my head i was questioning her hygeine . ( i have ocd so it matters )
I had to make an excuse and leave ..
I havnt arranged a meet with anyone since. |

It's happens sometime your on the other side of it once had a guy ask me to put my shirt back on as my scar wierded him out despite him knowing i had it i just made excuses and left |

Always make the 1st date a social, be very clear you're not agreeing to sex just a drink/dinner that way you don't have to feel awkward saying no. safety 1st ladies, if it doesn't feel right don't do it. |

You could arrange strictly social meets then you can gauge em without them expecting more. give them reason later.. After the meet.. Good luck x |

I am going to go against what most people have said. First off may I say if he wasn't your type and it didn't feel right you have every right to change your mind. One thing that would piss me off a little bit if I was this guy is the fact you swapped pictures. Unless the pictures he sent you were very blurry, taken from very weird angles or years old I don't get how you didn't know he was not your type from his pictures. |

Na he didnt look like the pocs and it wasnt a v good pic eigha...thinkin back i shud of asked for clearer or more pics

I've had this too only I had a couple who drove to my place for a meet I saw them pull up and drive away. Told me he was going for a shower I assumed they got cold feet and I've not heard back from them since I don't mind that they had indeed changed their minds but atleast have the manners to say so.

I've done this twice - one was clearly using photoshopped pictures from 10 years ago and really lying about her age and the other was only 1 member of a supposed "couple".
The couple one sucked, travelling to Kensington on a Sunday when the trains weren't working, just to be greeted by the guy wearing his wife's knickers  |

Even if you got someone back to your or their place....if you then change your mind....either party should find it fine to stop proceedings...I see no point in doing anything you are not comfortable with....as long as manners and politeness is used then "sorry, but I have had a change of mind" should always be acceptable. |

All because you arranged to meet someone, whether it be just a social or not, doesn't mean you have to have sex with them if you feel it's not for you. You have the right to change your mind at any time. It's always best to have a social and make it clear that it is and meet in a public place. |
