Horse riding makes you very supple when it's going well. After a fall or being bashed by a rude horse it has the opposite affect over time though.

At competitions you see each end of the scale it's quite funny to watch.

Proper stretches done at least a couple of times a week will help. Probably not as much as yoga etc but it makes a difference.

I've never got on that well with yoga but I really enjoy pilates, and I think being flexible is always good when it comes to the bedroom

For women, I think pilates can have an added bonus, as it really helps strengthen your core and develop your pelvic floor muscles

Absolutely but I would always suggest going to a couple of beginner classes x they are cheap and will give you some understanding and confidence to the learn and practice safely from a book or dvd xx

Thank you.

Classes aren't really an option for me for various reasons so I'll have a look at dvds and youtube

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Pilates is excellent for maintaining flexibility. It worked for me anyway.

evesham

I watched an amazing video the other day where a guy who was quite overweight and losing his mobility after years of parachute jumps in the airforce took its toll on his knees looked online for some help.

A yoga instructor who he had never met set him a programme and the change in his weight and his mobility was astonishing!!

I have a yoga dvd I bought from the works but the lady on it is really annoying so I don't do it often lol

I asked at my local gym, whether they could teach me to do the splits, they asked "how flexible are you?"

I said, "I can make it Tuesday or Wednesday evenings"

I do a lot of walking and just recently cycling every day.

I don't do this for sexual reasons, I have to walk the dog and I cycle to work. I am pleased with how shapely my legs have become though
