I dont reply to every message, especially those where its quite obvious they havent read our profile, as their message will say 'married guy looking for extras' when we arent looking to help people cheat, or they will be under or over our preferred age |

We mostly do.. although sometimes I read and can't reply as I need to check details or times etc or just read then lose signal...And it can get forgotten about x |

Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone. If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested. If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here?
Short answer - you are not entitled to a reply on here. Sorry. |

But if I message someone after reading there profile and I'm like wow they just described me lol and they don't message back it's kinda like what the hell are you even doing on here when they go out meeting guys that don't fit the criteria they set? |

Well our head isn't shoved up our own arse and we don't reply to all the messages we receive. Basically we can't be arsed to. Some days we can get upto 100 messages and others maybe 10. Unfortunately we both have full time Jobs and busy lives so aren't able to reply to all messages even if we wanted to. Surely not getting a reply is the same as a not interested Reply. |

how do you know you fit exactly what they are looking for. We don't put everything in our profile that we are looking for and I'm sure a lot of others don't. |

I think replying to every message isnt easy but then again a polite yes or no isnt hard to do, some people dont read profiles which proves they dont care who they send message to and are just looking a quickie with anyone that will meet. |

If some one doesn't read your profile and isn't anything like what your looking for do you reply. Just wondering because surely it would be polite to read it before messaging. Do they deserve a reply a if they haven't took 30 seconds to read it? |

I dont reply if they arent for me as I have received some nasty messages when I have said 'thanks but not my type' why should I have to receive that level of abuse when I was polite!

you could always ask the person to reply with a quick 'no' if you're not what they are looking for, i have actually replied no to people who say that. and it did make me think that some people probably do spend some time waiting for replies on here and must get frustrated about it. |

Whilst I agree that a lot of people on here do give the impression they reside up their bums,I feel that my profile states exactly what im looking for and if its obvious that my profile hasn't been read then I don't feel obliged to reply.If on the other hand,my profile has been read but the individual doesn't meet my needs then I will send a polite reply. |

It can be frustrating when you make great efforts to write up a decent message, highlighting particular areas of the recipients profile you like to show you've read it, and that you're not a copy/paster to get nothing at all back..That's just the nature of things on here I guess.
I've not been on here that long but it takes a short time to understand you need a thick skin to stay sane!

I do not reply to every message for a lot of reasons that others have stated..
1. If they clearly haven't read my profile or ignored it they are the rude one so why should I reply to them?
2. No thanks is quite often a green light for people who then try to drag you into conversations with them which makes it even harder to say no (their plan I assume but just gets me angry)
3. I used to reply to every message by the time I'd finished with one reply I'd have 5 messages in my inbox, I don't have time to reply to all. As I pointed out on a previous thread even taking 30 to reply would on average take me 5 hours a day. I have a job and a life!
4. I am a sensitive soul I don't like to hurt peoples feelings and even the thought they may take it the wrong way is enough for me not to send one.
5. No reply means no,..... Its the unwritten code of fab. Get over it! |

We don't reply to every messge we get here, often we don't bother because when we look at their profile we find that they are the opposite of what we look for and we wonder why on earth they have emailed us as we don't fit at all, sometimes we messege back to say no thanks but often that leads to an abusive messge from them so we don't always bother and sometimes we even (shock horror) block them at that point ! |

We try and reply but some messages are just so stupid or crass they are not deserving of a reply.
And sometimes some slip through unanswered which we genuinely miss by accident. |

The replies I give to men that can't even be bothered to look at my preferences I'm sure they would rather me ignore them.
As for couples I do normally try to reply if they seem genuine even if its a no thanks but sometimes I like to ask my partners opinion first and then just forget haha |

Every woman I've spoken to about it. My worst day I received 500+ in less that an hour! Filters don't work for the ugly people or those that don't attach pics or just cock pics so I don't know why people bang on about this! I would like a filter for those that are outside of my desired area, or for body type, or those who can accommodate but you only get the option of age and I don't particular care about age as long as they are my type.
Block none site supporters...don't care if they are or arent
Block none verified users.... How do they get verified if nobody will meet them?
Block those with no public pics...they might have lovely ones in their private gallery, plus i dont have public pics so dont wanna be a hypocrite!

A very fair point.
As a single chap i've been in the same situation of having taken time to write a message to find it either deleted or even not read.
I feel a little more positive about messages i've sent that aren't deleted once they've been read even if I don't get a reply.
Under different circumstances I might consider such lack of response to be rude, but I read the FAQ's when I joined so I know the score. |
