Alot of women say there bbw but dont look that big. I love women who are bigger then normal. What size would you start to say there a bbw. Id have to say 20+ and size 16 and 18 are cuddley size I think.

Average size for a UK female is 16 .... so BBW cannot start there, as that is average.

Dress size means nothing. Someone who is 5ft tall and a size 18 will look a lot different to someone 5ft 10 of the same size. I'm a size 18 and whilst I'm not slim by any means, I would consider myself curvy, not a BBW.

surely it depends on the ladies height?

We should be talking BMI's, not dress sizes.

For me 30+

Why are so many people hung up on how women describe themselves and whether they are big/big enough/bigger than normal(whatever that means!)/bbw/curvy/ample/fat/large/

fabulous etc?

Do a search, look at a profile if it appeals, if its not what you are looking for move on to find one that is ..... there is far more to women than their size and whether they wobble when they move for goodness sake

"surely it depends on the ladies height?

That's not a great way of measuring it either as it doesn't take into account muscle mass. My BMI is 30.3 but I don't consider myself obese or a BBW.

Totally agree. Everyone's opinion of what a BBW is, as with everything, will differ. Like the look of someone, message, don't like the look, move one.

using BMI is more helpful than dress sizes. But as you say it is imperfect.

We can't find a perfect measure though!

Maybe it's more fun seeing how other people define what bbw means to them lol

These threads make me more inclined to leave than any other, why don't we have threads like this about men? All this is is an excuse for men to be shining knights, normal beautiful women to be self depreciating telling people their big when they clearly aren't and making others feel just a little bit shitter about themselves. I really wish they would take the stupid body shape box off of the profiles and let people just look for themselves. Rah!!!!

The main issue for me is that big tends to be subjective based on how the woman sees herself and beautiful is even more subjective. I think there's a difference between being big and a BBW

all because someone carried extra weight don't make them a BBW in my opinion

I'm 5ft 10 and a size 14 so indisputably I'm large built, i don't think id class myself as a BBW though

to me a BBW is obese, you can be big without being obese

BBW?

Big = depends on perspective

Beautiful = in the eye of the beholder

Woman = speaks for itself

There are some ladies who get hung up on labels. A larger lady who is a stunner (in my eyes) doesnt need a label. I see no dress size label when the clothes hit the floor

I'm a 16-18 and many say I'm not BBW including other women, have also been told 'You're not as fat as you think you are' so I think it is also down to how we see ourselves.

I'm fat (tummy) but curvy with it so I would describe myself as curvy but fuller figured curvy x

Its from within..

Dress for your shape... We can't all be or like the same...

For me BBW is when a lady stops having that hour glass shape.

Curves lumps and bumps are all womanly and alluring.

When a lady gets to the point that she is becoming round then I would say BBW.

I've never understood why people don't just look at the pictures and make there own mind up if there attracted to someone or not. No pictures then move on to the next profile, there is absolutely no reason why someone can't put body pictures up. I've never looked at the body size type on here I let my eyes make the decision.

But if were making generalisations I've always though of size 18 and upwards as bbw as that's where the outsized clothes used to start in shops but now they put all the sizes together

surely if someone is happy and confident with themselves it shouldn't make a difference what anyone else thinks. I'm fat and couldn't give a toss, you can't be attractive to everyone whether your a size 6 or 26

Ah if only that were true, but we all know it isn't.

A method for selecting perspective partners is necessary unfortunately the only one available is some ones outward appearance.

Which is a shame really cos I'm kind sensitive and funny.

People want to hang out with the cool attractive kids just a fact of life

Like others have said it's difficult to put a size on where it starts. I'd say an 18 myself, because up to 16 seems to be the more average size historically. Although height will pay a big factor in it too. I'm an 18/20 and 5ft 6 so I'm definitely bigger than most ladies my height. Working on reducing it though. I've decided I personally prefer the term rubenesque to BBW, or actually no label at all would be far better.

"These threads make me more inclined to leave than any other, why don't we have threads like this about men? "

I posted one the other day- some people said I look fine, some said that a guy should never put Curvy as a body type (im not large by any means, but ample doesn't fit right either IMO).

and one person made me feel like hiding in a dark room till I could see my ribs sticking out because I'm grotesque and fat

This is a can of worms, you can not go on dress size at all. I have a female friend who is a size 18, due to her being 6'4 she has curves to die for. The other end of the scale I work with a woman 4'2 and a size 14, who sadly looks very cuddly 'her words'.

"I dont get why all the emphasis goes on that first B!!!! Its much more important in my _iews to aim for the second B...if you find someone beautiful their size is irrelevant.this goes for males or females....this kind of thread leaves some embarrassed and hurt and also down about who they are on the outside when its what the inside is like that matters....too much vanity!!! surely if someone is happy and confident with themselves it shouldn't make a difference what anyone else thinks. I'm fat and couldn't give a toss, you can't be attractive to everyone whether your a size 6 or 26"

"BBW?

Big = depends on perspective

Beautiful = in the eye of the beholder

Woman = speaks for itself

There are some ladies who get hung up on labels. A larger lady who is a stunner (in my eyes) doesnt need a label. I see no dress size label when the clothes hit the floor "

I totally agree with this cause everyone is beautiful in there own way and tbh when it comes to bbws the bigger the better but Id say from about size 16 up is bbw

I really hate the term BBW I am a size 18 on top (due to most weight being on my boobs) and a size on my stomach which would be flatter if i hadnt lost weight so quickly!

Weight and bmi dont work either people are shocked when they find out how much I way due to muscle mass as I am an ex rugby player, archer and i lift weights at the gym!

I am actively trying to lose weight so when someone turns round and calls me a BBW it hurts.. I ignore the second B as honestly if its my weight you are seeing you arent looking at my face

I'm a 16 and wouldn't describe myself as bbw at all. Curvy maybe

There is just too many people trying to put people into groups for me from the bi/gay/straight boxes to the skinny/chubby/bbw brackets does it really matter and are boundaries that important.

I think it's really interesting to glimpse how people _iew themselves.

In every day life you wouldn't normally get that insite.

From the straight guys who are straight cos they only suck cock occasionally.

To the larger ladies who label themselves as curvy.

We all have a vision of ourselves in our minds eye, it's amazing how this can differ from what every one else sees
