"It offends me when a guy on here sends a first message calling me that. It's just assumed because i'm 39 that i'm a mother."

No, it's a bit of harmless fun really isn't it? Its usually said by horny younger guys. I have been called it before and my response is always a bit of banter along the lines of "You wish you could!" haha x |

It rather depends upon the company and the context.
In private, used in the right way, it's a compliment - but used in an offhand way, or in the wrong company then it can become offensive.
But it's much more fun if a man calls me "Mummy" while he's having me....!!!

Doesn't offend unless they are only a few years younger than me. I think the term is misused, its a person old enough to be your mother not just any female with a child. You'd never use the term for an 18 year old mother |

Only ever heard it used in terms of any mother who the guy finds attractive, nothing to do with age but all to do with the fact shes a mother.... |

Yeah, I believe this is the original definition, somewhere along the line it kind've morphed in with the Cougar types (Stifler's Mum), so now they represent the same thing, some guys call women MILFs who don't even have kids, because of this. |

"As the title, would you consider yourself a MILF, if not are you offened at the suggestion you could be a MILF "
Its a bit childish more than offensive I always assume the guy using is a giggling immature schoolboy and switch off if honest. |
