I have finally decided to buy my first strap on, but there are so many out there that I am completely lost. I am a bigger girl (size 16) so would I be better with a strapless one, or do these fall out? |

I'm also a size 16 & love my doc Johnson, harness is comfortable, easily adjustable with vaginal & anal add ons for the wearer & the "cock"part is easily removable to clean etc or swap for different attachments. |

I don't like my strap less one at all... Not comfortable and not suitable for purpose in my opinion.
Sex and mischief do a great range that adjust and I like those.
Babe and horny are supposedly the best but out of my finance range... If money is no object then I would get one of those. |

There are quite a few strapless dildos but you get what you pay for and, if you have reasonable pelvic tone, they will stay in place - you can improve your pelvic muscle tone by wearing one around the house and, also, by using one. Our favourites are the Nexus range which come in several sizes and also with/without vibration, and the FunFactory Share XL.
That said, you are probably better off starting with a harness.
Again, what you get is price determined, so try not to skimp.
As a slightly bigger girl you might want to consider a corset harness but, otherwise, go for something in soft leather, rather than hard, as this will be much more comfortable and the leather takes on a great patina with use.
Another option is to use a thigh harness.
sh! for women have a great range of harnesses.
Babes-n-horny sell the best dildos; not cheap but amazing colours, shapes and various sizes. You can see my favourite on one of my photographs: sh! harness and the 'Obama' dildo from b-n-h as it's red, white and blue, just like Old Glory!

Look through those available to what size and shape you will be most comfortable with. They are a lot of fun though if you get one. |
