Why do so many people use this as a reason not to visit clubs ?
So what you know someone there you aren't obligated to play with them ,they aren't likely to go gossiping all over town as they would be outing themselves , and if your a newbie it's a least someone you know to chat with

Because you don't want to bump into the same twat you spent all night trying to avoid at the club when you're shopping at tesco* with the kids.

I babysit 3 smal children every saturday as part of my job and I was looking at my winks and the parents of these 3 children winked me I had to go round there yesterday hoping they did not recognise that it was me xx |

This. Plus, it depends very much on the context you know them in...people do value discretion but just from the small cross section who post on here, it's very clear that it isn't a universal concept...In the end, if they don't go, no matter how illogical to you, that's the way they choose to conduct their swinging and it doesn't really effect you now does it? |

I don't know anyone who uses that reason. But I can understand it.
When I think about who could walk through that door at any moment. It's worrying. I know we are doing the same thing, but I would find it off putting in the extreme.
Although we do go to clubs and have a good time.
You have just got to bite the bullet and have some fun. It can happen but chances are slim. |

Not sure how anyone could recognise you from the pics you have public. We're all entitled to our sex lives, and your choices here surely don't affect your ability to do your job with the professionalism it requires. It's fine to want to be discreet, but this people are all on this site too. Their not really in a position to judge you are they! You shouldn't worry too much. X |

Because I once went to a club only to find my son's friend there, a woman who knew me from my then work (who also turned up at chams the next day, still pissed from the day before) and a couple who's kids went to school with my kids, he then hits on me on here offering me money to fulfill a fantasy he has from his single male profile that his wife doesn't know about so thanks but no thanks, prefer not to use clubs close to home  |

I wouldn't want to meet certain people I know. A family member I'd probably have a drink and a chat with. Wouldn't want to be in the same room with them having sex though |

What is the problem? I've been there (but not on Fab).
We both have German Shepherds. We both exercise our dogs in the same woods. But I am old enough to be her father (and then some). It is just another subject for conversation, albeit an interesting one and good for a few laughs, too.

Most people who swing are very discreet and dont tell people that they swing and if they do its only a very small amount of people who would know, so if you see someone you know in a club im sure they wont tell anyone and even if they do it will only be to a close friend who they trust, Ild probs just smile if i seen someone i knew, Im pretty sure im going to see someone i know in town house when i try it out on the 9th as i used to live on the wirral to |
