I wonder how many people use the Search Forum facility on here. I ask because it seems that there are some topics that are dealt with intelligently and positively but then crop up again the next day or even on the same day.
The list of ongoing topics is visible in each of the forum areas, but I wonder how many of those who post asking for help usually about not being able to get meets, or the old chestnut "it's rude not to reply" actually have read similar threads that have covered exactly the same issues before creating a new post in order to see and maybe take on board advice and viewpoints already given.
Obviously the "Please look at my profile where am I going wrong?" posts may require more specific attention, but even the posters of these threads could benefit from scouring the many many threads that offer the same sensible advice again and again and again.
In addition to the current forum listings and Search Forum facility, maybe there could be a "Top 5 topics" listing based on frequency of appearance, and I've a pretty good idea what they'd be... |
