Totally gobsmacked to read that Robin Williams has been found dead by apparent suicide  such a brilliant actor  xx |

It seems that the cliche of the ' tears of a clown ' has become reality once more ,reminding us all of those tragic talents who gave to us that rare and special gift of laughter and joy at the expense it would seem , of their own personal happiness . Tony Hancock , John Belushi , Eric Morecambe , Benny Hill , Richard Pryor Tommy Cooper and many others whose names sadly elude my memory at present . But the one defining factor that tragically unites them is , in they all lived , and failed to cope with , existential demons that overcame them ,and led to their eventual demise despite spreading universal happiness and fond memories of laughter to the world . Who mourns the death of a clown ? We do . Robin Williams ( RIP ). |

Such a great actor and comedian. He will be missed by many but watched and remembered for evermore.
