I recently got lambasted for my occupation and the fact I am on this site, I must add by a person on here who messaged me who I refused to give my number to.
This topic is raised to show you that it doesn't matter what occupation you have, we are all here for the same thing! Rant over! |

Whilst I'm sure a few folks job might be more risky as it could lead to blackmail, don't think any should be revealing too much about their occupation anyway. |

Thats the only thing I can think that people would question being on the site because of the profession..and its links with payment.
of course...everyones got a right to be on the site(keeping to the rules), even those with no interest in meeting people

Pisses me off a bit when men message me using their profession as some sort of lure, e.g. Fireman or doctor as if I'm so empty headed I will fall at their feet because of their job. The number of messages I get from "professionals" is huge too. Often turns out that professional just means they wear a shirt and tie to work and haven't studied a prescribed body of knowledge/skill and judged to be fit to be registered with body that regulates their profession  |

If it helps I typically try to wash all the carcinogenic crap off my hands before a meet. If I'm feeling fancy I'll even try to get the stuff that causes genetic damage off too  |

I had a teacher come to us while on strike 
Personally I work in a factory making radiators for trucks, trains and oil rigs for minimum wage and my wife stays home with the babies. Dam how dare we be members here lol |

Im a full time carer for my ill/disabled mum so have ti explain my situation as its nit ideal. I get slated a lot for being on gab. I even had one guy say to me if he actually knew who i was and where i lived he would have reported me to social services for neglecting my mother. |

The only thing I can think of is that maybe they think you can hack into their account, or use their account to hack into their home computers.
People put so much of their private lives onto their computers then get really paranoid about security lol
That's the only way I can see people being intimidated by what you do. |

I've met Doctors, nurses, police officers, forces personel, financial advisers, IT consultants etc

I work in a condom factory! In reality its no ones business, what we both do , job wise, what cars we drive, family , our financial situation etc etc .... There is socializing and socializing! Mutual respect Yes , but others should respect there is stuff that is totaly irrelevant to NSA sex! We never ask and are much more interested in having mutual , enjoyable sexual fun with others, with no judging on what they do for a living or how much money they have in their pocket
