Truth is you pick your own risks of driving on the motorway might kill you but that's more likely of you drive fast or even better asleep.
However, as we are a group, we operate by a herd mentality and the dominant ones push through their views which becomes the accepted consensus.
The truth is, giving oral is dangerous, regardless to M or F and it's always the one giving that's at risk. Accepted the risk is lower than penetration but is there. You should use a condom for oral and think twice before licking a lady. E. Coli is the least of anyone's problem (its just bacteria that is very very easily treated and rarely causes any major problems).
We made the decision to play it safe and my get licked and use condoms for oral. However, playing it safe was so difficult and on the day people would pressure you to go against what you want that we've decided to not do any meets. Our on informed decision based on the risks and benefits. Everyone makes their own and that's fine but shouldn't pretend just because you do it, its right or the views expressed by some here (particularly some, not most, single guys) that your wrong.
Finally regular tests are meaningless. Being health care professionals, we know that all the show that you didn't catch any thing 3 months ago. Nothing more. Doesn't even prove that you don't have anything at this moment in time. Worse is that it shows you continue to expose yourself to highrisk behaviour.
The only good thing is, that generally swingers are much more informed and risks are much much lower than meeting someone on a night out. |
