Happens to me all the time. To the point where I don't like telling people my age as they look flabbergasted and say I don't look it. The thing is. I think I do look my age. I have long bright red hair. I think it throws people. So that's the answer people. Dye your hair bright red! |

And a fringe.
I had a fringe cut and it took years off me. People never believe i'm nearing 40 with grown up sons lol. My 20 year old son got asked if I was his girlfriend once! Poor boy was traumatised  |

I use to get asked for id in pubs when i was 21, wasnt a problem as i had my army id. Use to get asked the same by doormen at clubs , which was a problem as they wouldnt allow soldiers in....grrr ! |

I've been mistaken for mid 20's a few times, I'm actually 39. Nearly all the men in my family look younger than we are. Only the thinning hair gives a hint of my real age...so I just shave it off lol |

Does this age catching up thing work on us like on those vampires caught in light etc, when they suddenly wrinke or turn to dust? I'd be mortified if coming out of a club late one morning, when I'm in my 60's, if I suddenly pruned. Mind you, at least it would be after the club frolics. |

When you havent got a beard Id still say very much over the age for cigarettes. 16, 18, 21, whatever it is.
When you do have a beard/stubble, no chance. |
