I'd say it matters not what length the hair is, more how often the person bathes.
As for aesthetics, I'm mostly inclined to a nice trimmed landing strip, although a totally smooth little pink mound on a woman can be very sexy occasionally, but so can a soft little bush.
Personally I think being completely shaven on a bloke looks weird, and feels weird to me. Shaven balls feel good and are probably better for a woman, as I like having my balls licked and gently sucked on.
I guess it all comes down to personal taste really. Nothing is right or wrong when it comes to the latest trends of pubic fashion.

"I must admit i hate long pubic hair, its looks so unhygienic on men and women. Anyone else agree?"
OP - you are entitled to dislike or, if you really have to, "hate" "long pubic hair". OTOH there is something seriously wrong with your attempted "justification" of this sentiment. I won't go into why you feel the need to justify yourself. The point I make is - consider what view looks like from the other party's side. What if everyone here who has or likes full-formed hair started to trash you? Given that some pretty cutting disturbing points could be made about your assumed characteristics?
Wishes of good karma and happy swinging.
I'm off to muff-dive some hairy cunts. |

I don't like pubic hair on myself so shave and Zed trims his but I'm indifferent when it comes to the look of it on others (although I confess to not being a fan of pubic hair when it's growing down the inner thighs - that's a Wookie too far)
Our playing preference is for shaved or very neatly trimmed bits. We did play with a lady in a club once who had a hairy muff - she was immaculately clean in herself but there was a faint smell of piss in her pubic hair. I guess you can dab with loo roll all you like after a wee but unless you wash, there will be traces of urine on the pubes. I'd hazard a guess most women don't thoroughly wash their pubes after every wee. Hence - we prefer shaved or trimmed |

Just a observation but i think theres an age divide here .
It seems the older ( but still beautiful ) ladies have the bush and the younger go for the trimmed / shaven look and each wants to justify there own styles .
Its just been the fashions over the years .
When i went to school in the eighties youd be the minority if u shaved now its totally the other way round as i say its whats fashionable |

I must be an exception then - I'm an 'older' lady but shave and have done for about 25 years so no fashion statement here - I just prefer how it feels.
I've noticed that when it comes to guys, lots of younger ones are sporting a bush. That's surprised me a bit. |

Urine can remain on the skin after urinating just as easily as it can remain on pubic hair and shaven/waxed skin is far more prone to infection than that protected by pubic hair too.
I have never been a trend follower and have never shaved, waxed or trimmed mine, to be honest I couldnt be bothered and I am fortunate to have a partner who loves my pussy the way it is, as do plenty of men it seems.
Everyone has their own preference and rightly so but the argument that pubes are more likely to smell of urine is nonsense in anyone who cares about personal hygiene. |

I agree - everyone has a preference but I can only comment on my own personal experience. I've been up close and personal with both shaved genitals and hairy ones - and the only ones that smelled of urine were the hairy ones.

Personally I think hairy is much better looks better and for me feels better, I have tried shaving and it just makes me feel sweaty down their and un-clean.
I wish more women wouldn't shave but at the end of the day that is their preference to do what they want, but I do wonder if they are only doing it as they think guys won't like hairy pussy's? |

I'm older and I shave too. I have since the days when I did old Skool aerobics. It was a bit nasty having spiders legs sticking through the Lycra! I do not like hair on men, trimmed or shaved is fine. |

I don't think that's why women shave. We go to a naturist beach quite often and I have never seen a man who isn't shaved yet I am also the only woman with groomed pubic hair rather than shaved usually. No one has ever commented to my face either way. |
