How can singles claim to be swingers or say in profiles that they've been swinging for x number of years etc?
I thought that swinging at least involved having a partner to swap? Maybe I've misunderstood the term? |

I think words change their definitions depending on who uses them. I swing, therefore I am a swinger. But I am a single woman so others wouldn't consider that I am. But I have never really cared what others think so  to them I guess. 
Short version - don't sweat it too much. Its not that important. |

Swinging is a mindset not an activity.
I have been involved in group sex, exploring my sexuality and attending clubs for nearly 8 years now.
Yes I am single, I haven't always been whilst swinging. But I still class myself as a swinger. Because my mindset is a swinger, even if some people don't class me as one. |

A mixture of feelings I guess, maybe a bit upset, or not surprised as sex between us is not as it was and something of a rarity these days, and maybe even a bit relieved |
