I think it's because,like everyone else on this site,they have preferences and are entitled to stick to those preferences.
It doesn't necessarily mean they have something to hide. Maybe they just don't want to go to a club.
Preferences are not exclusive to women and men dressing as women.

Last singles night we went to (to meet a couple) there was only one women all night who we sore that allowed 4 men to grope her after her partner had tied her up she was then followed all night and most of the singles were stood round looking lost and lonley.
knowing what they had paid I'd have been gutted to have spent that sort of money on such a poor night. if I was single I wouldn't use clubs unless it was for a prearranged meet special event or the club had a good reputation for action on a singles night |

I reckon the reluctance stems from possibly turning up and being Billy no mates! Or your meet doesn't show, or decides you're not for her and you're out the cash and holding your cock! Also if the guys are not club goers it's another new experience which might scare them.
I've met several times at clubs with people, but then I'm quite a confident guy. In fact I find club meets preferable to hotels! Certainly cheaper and the option to expand your meet! |

Never been before
Not sire what to expect
Have no idea of the protocols involved when visiting
Might want to protect there personal information

Some clubs charge lots and that puts men off but the main problem that many seem to have is sharing. Even in clubs I find a lot of men want one to one rather than group, it just seems to be the mindset of many. Most of the men who message me are after one to one, in private. I guess they are shy or, as has been suggested, are afraid of the competition |

you have said that you havent been to clubs on many occasions, so unless you have been recently think you may be telling porky pies, and anytime we have been to clubs we have never seen single guys treated with disdain, quite the opposite, and we have been on all manner of nights. |
