The equations I use for work haven't changed in a few hundred years
However the methods used to solve said equations have changed dramatically in the last 20 years
The matrix inversion techniques are not new of course, but we now have cheap computing power to do said calculations.
I can now run a 6 million simultaneous equation simulation in about an hour.
By hand I can only manage 3 simultaneous equations on paper
Of course even this is now done via Excel or MathCAD
So something's change art "math" but the basics don't at a lower level...
Hth
Or have I misread the post and this is a cock\pussy\bbw\bbc question? |
