Sounds like bullshit to me, check out pretty much any 'top hundred sexiest men in the world' list, and you'll likely find that more than half of the are guys of 40+. |

Men who are 40+ are aware of their health and sexual limitations but make up for it by being more adventurous and caring than the younger male's. Older guys don't suffer from performance anxiety either as they are more comfortable in the presence of others. |

A couple of points:
The survey was comissioned by a hair clinic, obviously trying to drum up some business from balding guys!
The 48% of women who did not agree is quite a large number!
Before anyone asks, I have a full head of hair....and it's all my own!  |

The father figure at 39 reference makes me think that their market research was based on answers given by woman in their 20's!
For me it depends on the individual ~ I can find 40+ men just as sexy as someone in their 30's. |

I'm inclined to agree with this....and also the point about 52% not exactly being a huge majority! I've just checked and about half the guys I've met have been over 39 so I must still find them sexually attractive |

I'd say that most people over 40 tend to give up on being sexually interesting to others. It's really only swingers, actors, musicians, etc who make an effort. In this sense I'd probably agree...most people over 40 out there (not on here) do not really give out sexy vibes. That doesn't mean they wouldn't be sexy if they didn't put in a bit of effort...just that they either can't be bothered (found their mate so why bother) or are just ignorant to how they're coming across.
I'm nearing 40 and somedays, when I'm dressed all dowdy I feel pretty darn invisible...other days, when I dress nicer, I get looks from all kind of ages. Ironically, however, nothing seems to turn Dorset women's heads more than a raincoat lol I guess I must just look that perfect blend of pathetic, in need of some loving attention, and yet sexy underneath all that lol |
