When the first message received is aggressively vulgar it pretty much guarantees a block never mind a reply.
I don't think we are overly prudish but we prefer something a bit more polite - at least initially |

All depends how the messages are written and how they come across to the receiver. Nothing wrong with a bit of smug or kinky stuff but on the otherhand you dont want to scare the living daylight out of someone by coming across as some sort of serial rapist.  |

I had a random 1st message from a guy who just said, "can I see a pic of your c**t so I can see if your worth fucking?"
I had to think long & hard on the reply. All of 0.5seconds. NO. His profile is hidden. But he's added to the blocked list. Xx |

It really depends on who your chatting to and if they are local or live too far away.
