I've recently signed up to the site and feel that my profile may be letting me down
I'm pretty new to all this and didn't really know what to put down so I opted for a straight forward 'about me'
Was this the right decision and if not what in your opinion makes a profile attractive enough to get in touch or reply to someone? |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
A little more about you to differentiate you from the 3 trillion other men would be good.
Also a little about what you're looking for to help people decide if you're a match to their wants.
I would wish you luck, but....
...you get the idea... |

To be honest your profile doesnt really say much about you so not really all about you on there...
People like to know all about your likes and dislikes ect on your profile,it then gives people an insight about you and if they want to email you to take things further.
Good luck x |

"i think a good profile is what everyone has "
Yes thats true but as the OP is one of thousands of single guys on here then he needs his profile to stand out from the rest x |

A few pictures, a bit about you, some amusing stuff and don't look desperate so it looks like your a bit better than the rest and it makes a difference with people wanting to reply. |

Ive read it and its fine but like has been said, more about what your dislikes and likes are ie you into single females, single males, couples? Preferring your own age, younger or older? Can you accommodate and/or travel? |

different people prefer different styles of profiles some people like them to be as informative as possible some people prefer them short and to the point.
The thing to do really might be to browse through some profile of those of a similar elk to yourself and pick out the points you like to incorporate in your own profile.
It is worth mentioning that your profile is about you, what your looking for and what your going to do in return, ie travel, accommodate, halves on hotels etc, for us, we like to see a bit of the personality coming out in a profile, all too often you have to read between the lines because it is not clear in the profile, we think you can often read more about a person by what isn't written than what is there.
In the end it is personal choice as with all things swinging. |

if you got bored reading his... don't even bother reading mine!!!.... mine is not for those with a "short attention span"
Anyway.....as long as you think that will appeal to the type of person that you are after, and it shows some of your personality, then that is all that in the end you can ask for!
I will still say this, even though I have/had swingings equivilant to "war and peace" for a profile it still took 6 months and a hell of a lot of effort to get my first meet..... the profile was just a small part of that! the shop window!
patience, perserverance, and common sense will dictate how the rest of it goes...... |
