not sure what advice there is, your either pregnant or your just a few days late, not all women start bang on time, I'd give it a week if still noting have a pregnancy test |

Sometimes periods are late due to stress, being under weight or any hormonal changes. I would wait several days more and if it doesn't start, you can always do a test. I believe nowadays though, you can even test on the first day of your missed period.

There must be a better source of information for this than this site! Try Dr Foster or NHS Direct. Not chatrooms, the actual site.
Some illnesses can make you late or irregular too.
How are you feeling other than stressed?
If you aren't pregnant then a trip to the GP may be helpful but please don't try to self-diagnose on the, Web it will only make you worry!
It may be nothing anyway.  |

irregular periods is quite common in young women
unless you have been having unprotected sex, and only you will know that, its probably nothing to worry about, if your not using birth control and you aren't pregnant maybe this scare is enough to tell you to get to the family planning so it don't happen again x |

The morning after pill can only be taken up to 72 hours after impregnation, not after 3 days from the first day of the missed period.

Surely in this day and age the vast majority of pregnancies are planned so no one should be posting threads like this. The OP is not a child, she must be aware of contraception and if she's not using it then any consequence including unplanned pregnancy is of her own making. I am aware that contraception isn't foolproof but most methods if used properly are 99.9% effective meaning you need to shag a thousand times using contraception to get one pregnancy. Even I have managed that many leg overs yet, at my advanced age  |

Mine was 7 days late this month and it's normally always on time. I have no idea why it was so late. I'd definitely go buy a test. I got a twin pack supermarket brand for about £3.50 and used both before my period finally showed up. |

I sort of agree with your sentiment, but not you maths. 
Its 1/1000 chance of getting pregnant whilst using contraception, and there are thousands of people on here shaging  |

Really? I was talking about this woman's chance of pregnancy which is 1 in a thousand shags. I wasn't referring to the whole sites chances, why would you think I was! How queer. Always use protection if you not in a settled relationship not fair if unwanted child born .i lost ten when married couldnt carry them and people who get pregnant just like that not planed makes me sick but after staying in hosptial 8 months i got my son so you must have been doin bare back do you no who father is if you are |

Not all contraceptive is 100% reliable; fell for twins on pill and again using implants. But the OP question is one I'd expect to see from a 15 year old on Facebook |

would recommend pregnancy test but wait at least a week just to be sure you not generally late.
some people can go months without a period and all of a sudden get a period that lasts longer than usual.
the missus has had irregular periods for the passed 2-3 months, going on period for about a week then about 8 days later starts her period again |

Sure its not right to jump to the conclusion that she hasn't used protection but its hard to believe a sexually active women who has had her period for probably at least 10 years give or take has no idea what to do in this situation. There are many well known reasons for a late period. And the majority of sexually active women would know to take a pregnancy test first. |

Well I have just read your profile and your first/last veri was 4 months ago and that was via cam, so unless you have a regular partner I dont think that you have a problem. Stress is a big cause of a lot of problems now a days, so go and get a test or sit back and wait.
By the way your profile needs some ajusting you say no single men but in yr profile you say yes to them.
I think that if we don't hear from you to back this silly question up with the advise you have been given, sorry but I feel that this is a real wind up ruby |

Why is that some of you automatically assume that she didn't use a condom?
Or that the father could be one of many?
Or that as she only has a recent cam verification that she probably hasn't even had sex recently. Not all sex has to be organsied through this site....

Am not judging the OP, I don't know her age, background or mental state, etc... so no bitching from me.
Saw a programme the other day, the middle age woman (with 2 adults kids) had unprotected sex with a guy she met online. She then contracted HIV. She was very surprised... Because she thought and was abso certain that only black people in Africa could contract HIV
So it seems that even nowadays some people still have some misconceived ideas or are not aware of some info.
Hope this makes sense in English now.
