Hi,
We're a couple on the site, verified (both in meet and in photo form) and with both public and friends-only photos on view. Occasionally we'll get a reply to messages sent out and after a few replies and friend requests granted (in both directions) everything goes cold. We never get a reply again - usually straight after the woman we've been chatting to has viewed our profile, which seems odd in our opinion.
We've followed the advice posted to others and changed our profile accordingly. Something about who we are and what we want from a woman, then something about what any woman joining us can expect.
So what the hell are we doing wrong? Would love to know others opinions.

LOSE THE BEARD!!!!
It doesn't do you any favours!
A nice clean shave and a damn good haircut will make you feel good, look good, and take 10 years off your appearance too!

Face it,you can't really get to know someone after one or two emails ? Maybe after further correspondence they feel they get a better insight into compatibility and decide you aren't for them ? It's not an insult. ...just the way of the world with different tastes and desires. |

There's no why or reason for this. It happens to us all off a variety of reasons. Maybe they don't fancy you after seeing all of your pics and are scared of saying, maybe they're not ladies after all  changed minds, bored, ignorant, found another person, fantasists.............the list could go on. Concentrate on the things you can control, ie the people you do talk to as opposed to those you don't anymore. |

I've had this happen the other way around on more than one occasion from couples who say they can't find a single female, but then when all seems to be going well - nada.
It's just the way this site is so no harm done and move on. |
