an iconic female porn star posted an article for a popular news and opinion internet website in 2013; she wrote about her experiences and perceptions of the porn industry regarding attitudes towards interracial sex.
she claims that, on entering the porn industry approximately 13 years ago, her agent asked her if she ‘did interracial’. apparently, she was willing to do it. however, after being advised by her agent, she decided against doing interracial sex scenes. in hindsight, she regrets taking the advice of her agent because she believes that if she would have done ‘interracial’ at the start of her career, like some other actresses, she would of had greater success.
from reading her full article, i can infer that many white female actresses are reluctant to do interracial scenes because, with a relatively large white male customer base, they believe that they will earn less money and have a shorter career: many of their white male fans may not approve of them doing interracial sex. she points out that only 20% of the performers registered with a particular LA based agency are willing to do interracial scenes.
i would like to ask you the following questions:
1. regarding interracial sex, do you believe that there is still racism within our society and can social attitudes really explain why so many white women that work in pornography are reluctant to do interracial sex scenes?
2. in general, do white men really disapprove when a white woman is fucked by a black man?
3. do you enjoy interracial sex? if you do please write why you like it so much.

Well from my own experiences the prejudices weren't with the customer base but mostly with the producers narrow minded views. In what should be a very open minded industry bigotry is not unusual it used to be years ago that performers were advised not to do interracial scenes, then the stigma was attached to working with bi male performers. |

Except all of the generalisation are in the paragraph that starts 'after reading her article I can infer'.....inferring that those are conclusions you have reached, not what was written by the author.
Racism and all other isms are still very prevalent in society so why wouldn't they be there in port as well. |

Why is it racist to consider various business opportunities? Every business targets different demographics in a bid to maximise profits. Would she be considered homophobic if she thought she would earn less money performing lesbian scenes? |

Porn tends to amplify its subject matter. "Schoolgirl porn" isn't real, it's a caricature of how real (legally old enough) schoolgirls dress and act. Same for nurses - ever seen what a real nurse wears? That ain't in porn.
"Interracial porn" is, in my experience, massively racist in itself - it doesn't feature guys who happen to be black, it's steeped in racist stereotypes of the big strong black man claiming ownership of the white woman, pandering to hundreds of years of racist stereotype.
I avoid interracial porn not because I don't want to see interracial sex - but because the themes that get emphasized in that porn niche are a turn-off for me. I'd rather just watch good porn with attractive people, who might happen to be black or white or whatever. |

i have not concluded anything. also, i never claimed it was a scientific study.
from what i have inferred, i have written a concise version of her full article and asked some questions so we can have a good debate.

Your realise "inference" is hocum right?? You have only made an opinion on someone's opinion.
There is no inference.
YOU are attributing this to racism. That is your inference. Your inference is non factual therefore it makes it an opinion. There is a big difference.
An inference is something you gain from facts. You have none, only opinion.
To try to make conclusions from 'a recent interview', is not only impossible but ridiculous to make.
FYI, people who like porn like a lot porn for quite a few different reasons.
For you to posit your own minor survey on the back of spurious data is not going to glean you any results to infer from. |

I'm killing myself laughing right now, I had the same thought.
Call it obsession or a keen interest in the subject but the OP certainly knows how to get crowd talking. Answering the questions:
1. Unfortunately, racism still exists in our society based on tired old attitudes by black and white men.
2. I'd say a certain group of white men do have hangups when it comes to black men with white women but to generalise would be unfair. I feel white men are far less bothered today about the subject in the U.K than they are in the U.S.
3. Race doesn't matter at all for us, we like human beings we can connect with, it's that simple. Race can be a complicated subject so we won't bring it in to context when we desire fun.

Racism in 'Murica is a slightly different beast to what it is here and while it is slightly better than 13 years ago, it is still rife.

I've read through this post with interest and as a kinda observer all I have really seen is a pack of wolves devouring it's prey. I always thought the forums were indeed for debate and making comments on a wide spectrum of topics posted by others. I tend to browse the forums and seldom now give input because I just see a lot of the time people being keyboard warriors and what seems like personal attacks on people. I am not suggesting for one minute that we all have to have the same opinion nor be unable to ask questions but surely we can do it in a dignified manner that doesn't immediately relate to tearing strips off of people because they have posted a topic.

Factually incorrect. Interracial is interracial. Regardless of whether you like it or not. You liking something isn't the definition of a things validity. It's interracial when any mixed race people have sex.

Oh hello mr handy, havent seen you about for a while. Its your choice what you write your threads about, so continue if you feel you want to know the thoughts of the forum's, you put yourself on the platform you do get negative to positive views.must say you are polite about it

the best way not be be worried is by not reading my thread. the subject header informs you of everything you need to know about the content you will read.
