I have seen Deaf people in swinger's clubs. Shared a hot tub with one- only knew when he took his aids out and left them on the bench!

Yes I met a gentleman from this site who is deaf, he never said as no hearing aid but he lips read

Does the OP mean profoundly deaf or hard of hearing?

Either way the answer is YES, me included (Mrs), and they are most certainly on here for the same reason as everyone else. Most people don't even notice I wear hearing aids.

Once met a deaf girl from a site like this...amazing woman! Taught me sign language and a few other things we don't really need words to express
