I have this harebrained idea that I thought I'd share with you and see whether it resonates with anyone. It strikes me that we're part of an evolution of porn.
In the beginning it was just top shelf mags and seedy back alley shops. It was something a lot of men were interested in...but not so many could bring themselves to delve into it for fear of being caught. Then along came the web and suddenly every man and his dog was watching everything from sex with teachers to gangbangs in chains. Slowly but surely men underwent a process of sexual liberation via porn. They saw threesomes, they saw foursomes, they saw sex with older women, they saw sex with younger women, they saw crazy role plays, they saw public sex, they saw more and more...and the more they saw...the more they started thinking..."Hmmm I'd like to try that"
So here we are...the next evolution of porn. Men, not content with watching paid models play out scenarios on film, want to try it out for themselves. Voila...Fabswingers!!!
Now, of course, women are a key part of this evolution...so please don't think of my focus on men as in any way sexist. It's just that historically porn has been consumed mainly by men. This is also changing and more and more women are getting into it. But women, so I'm told, often prefer the tactile...so for them the idea of actually trying stuff might also be more interesting than watching videos of it. So perhaps they're contributing to this move towards reality too. Also women's arguments against the objectification of women are perhaps having a part in moving away from old ideas of porn (with fake people) and towards swinging (with real people). I'm a bloke so I'm not gonna make the mistake of preempting what women do or don't think on this subject...just trying to include women in the discussion and show I'm not being exclusive here.
So the general idea is that porn, the movie, is evolving into porn, the experience...and that's us

I think yes and no.... yes we are as porn o the net has numbed us to everything. ..fisting extreme stuff..all the norm. .very sad I feel
but swinging was taking place decades before the net n porn as we now it...I wish I lived then in those hedonistic times x |

Lol yeah you're probably right Sometimes I have too much idle time on my hands and my mind goes a floatin'. However, I do think there's something different going on these days...
Thanks to the internet, there is a lot more exposure to a wide range of sexual activity. Sometimes this is alarming and possibly detrimental, as in the case of under age kids getting sexualised too early...but I do think it's also secretly liberating a lot of adults who simply wouldn't have known about such things in previous decades...let alone watched them.
Secondly the internet is connecting people who never would have met before. Previously a foot fetishist might have lived out their whole existence thinking they we're alone in their weird perversion. Now they can join a community of thousands and come to feel that what they're into is 'perfectly normal'.
So I sense that something is happening here, between these two things, and, for me, maybe it's a move away from merely watching freaky sexy shit...and moving towards looking online to see if anyone out there actually wants to try it. Yes swinging and porn have been around for centuries...but I just sense some kind of escalation going on
