I have heard that you need to burn them to get rid if them too.
Mind you, burning got rid of the conifers that I had wanted to keep.
I hope the pampras grass is a myth as our neighbours have it,... and they are in their 80's!! |

Trouble is it was a sign in the 70's so that would put them in their 50's then so quite possible. ask them lol |

"Is the old adage of swingers having pampas in their front garden true? Is it really a way of telling swingers apart from vanilla people? "
Definitely true. If you don't have it, you're not a swinger. |

"Anyone got pink pampas grass? "
Yes we just bought one from a garden centre recently
There's quite a few pampas grasses in our village but suspect they're not all swingers.... |

I say if you only have them in your back garden is that you used to be swingers, you dug up the plant from the front garden and planted it in the back garden as an act of retirement but to keep the memory's of your swinging past. |

I've never heard this before. We have had pampas grass at the front of our house for years but have never had anyone come to the door! Shame.....I shall look after them far more carefully in the future. |

Haha I have just always heard that some swingers would identify themselves using pampas grass. Seems a bizarre notion but others seem to have heard of it too! I have also heard that in the days before the internet they'd put a trilby hat on the parcel shelves of their cars to signal 'hello! I'm a swinger!'- the mind boggles! |
