I just came back from a place where they hated me,And everything else that i stand for.
A place where my Brothers are dying for others,Who just don't care anymore.
If i'm not that same little freckle faced boy

You're just back from war? But joined three weeks ago.
You're no longer a boy? You're hardly an 18yr old just back from his first tour.
As an ex forces guy myself, when I got back from tour, swinging was far from my mind.
With a lady who looks as good as the one in those pictures I'd be locked away with her not on fab.

some people cope with it better than others. I've met a lot of armed forces men in my life. Some have a hard time but still need someone. If they don't have a partner that someone could be from the internet. Not necessarily here though |

The wonderful thing about our armed forces is that they, formally we , are willing to lay down their lives for their country.
That includes the misguided and the ungrateful.
As proud professionals they don't necessarily agree with the politics but they still fulfil their duty. |

There are probably people on fab who have lost love ones in that war . So yes you may have your own opinions . But show some respect and keep them to yourself |

Never read the daily mail and dont particularly go in for the 'our boys and girls out there' thing but I do find your comments crass and insensitive.
If you want to start your own thread discussing the actions of the soldiers that are returning from war then do so. No one involved you in this thread until you decided to post.
Just because people disagree with your statements does not mean they are readers of any particular newspaper it just means that they don't like your comments. Perhaps they have family retyurming, perhaps they have family that aren't returning.
You may think your comments and intentional winding up if people on here makes you look like billy big bollocks but it really doesn't. The majority on here see your comments for what they are.
Like I said, have your _iews but choose your audience. |

I don't put the troops on the pedestal that many do, but saying that, they have my respect for the jobs they do.I couldn't do it. The very same respect of mine is given to the many, many innocent lives caught up in the conflicts from foreign lands, I can't begin to imagine their loss.
But there is ways of putting across a differing _iew without being crass. |

Wow...I've had many bans and wound many folk up but that's low kid...really low...
I too am a pacifist however these people do a duty, all be it decided by men in suits all at a safe distance and comfortable..
but Wether I agree or not people are permitted to stand up for what THEY believe in..but most importantly they are 'human beings' with family and children etc...and Lives lost under WHATEVER circumstances deserve some FUCKING RESPECT!!!
War will always be around and if these boys weren't standing in line people like you would be hiding under the fucking stairs when the national service boys came knocking.. So whilst you're main aim Might be to get a quick fuck on here spare a thought for what's actually happening in the 'real world'

Never a truer word spoken. They're paid to do a job that they do without asking the rhyme and reason. Just go where they are told. And if they didn't we wouldn't sleep safely in our beds at times.
