Just had to block a member who just joined for being rude after I sent a polite message saying hello and welcome to Fabswingers. What she said was that I should not be on here and I offend her eyes so I replied saying no need to be rude then I blocked her.
I think I have the right to be here just as anyone else. Their shouldn't be that kind of rudeness on here at all.
Has anyone had people like that? |

ignore her words, you have every right to be here.
although I do think new members should get a breathing space from messages for the first few days, to settle in.
people sending 'welcome' messages may have the best intent, but a lot within hours could put people off.

I'm already ignoring what she said and you're right, there are no excuses for rudeness. I will be careful on what idiots are on here. |

You did the right thing. Report and block. There's every reason to be friendly and polite, especially to people new to fab and the forums.

Not us but we don't try and jump on newbies as invariably they are inundated and don't need preying on when they first join. |

Not us but we don't try and jump on newbies as invariably they are inundated and don't need preying on when they first join. "

We had a message from a guy we hadn't spoken too before saying that I (Daz) needed my eyes tested for thinking Nic was gorgeous & why anyone would want to meet her !
I did offer to meet him anytime he wished for a heart to heart chat Then we blocked him |

It really peeves me when somebody messages me; I reply completely normally (or they request a face pic etc)... And they delete the message and never reply
I'd think if we were on messaging terms you may as well be polite and just say if you're not interested! I wouldn't take offense or bite back :P |
