how far are people prepared to travel?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hey everyone.. I guess this has been asked many times before but....
How far are people prepared to travel to meet up, for the right types they are looking to meet?
I am interested as I live in a rural location with few options locally, but what I can offer is my home and an overnight stay extended to anyone who I get to become friends with and can trust. After months of trying, of course as a single fella I just get ignored, but asking this question may help to establish if its a distance issue. Oh, I always state my exact location in message, although my profile is less accurate, but I prefer that due to where I live. |

As a rule of thumb, usually around an hour each way but i have travelled a lot further in the past. I find driving quite relaxing so as long as i have the time to spare, i don't mind being behind the wheel. |

A first meet I will not travel far as I don't have my own car. For a regular man I will travel by tube for an hour and a half each way. Because I know he deserves my time |

Yeah, I have friends that live in Twickenham so I travel down there to visit every couple of months. M25 is a pain but fortunately, I only have to go down a few junctions on it. |

For a social with a single or couple I won't travel more than half an hour and refuse all offers to travel to me if it will take them more than half an hour or so. For big socials then 3 plus hours (in fact, when I go to Jaydees next month, I'm doing that trip in 2 stages, Arse End over to York on the Friday then down south on the Saturday )
Play meets usually a couple of hours max and I have met folk at mine who've travelled a coupla hours - if invited to mine from a distance then a shag or 6 is definitely on the cards |

Within the UK, furthest I'd travelled in driving time was 3.5 hours each way. By distance covered, that will be Glasgow.., I flew.
Outside the UK, 13 hours flying time to Florida. The meet lasted a week, and it was worth every effort put into making the trip.
Basically, it depends on who I'm meeting and also if it will be worth it. And also, that the fact that I'm making the effort isn't lost on the person I'm meeting. |

Realistically, because we don't necessarily meet for sex everytime.............we won't travel for much more than an hour unless the other party are prepared to meet us halfway..... |
