"kickassunblock"
Is unavailable / blocked to Sky users.
I can only report what my ISP has blocked but it's pretty widespread, however I am savvy enough to get what I want in the end, in fact this is a nice challenge if you treat it like a game.
Torrenthound
Katproxy
TPB
Extratorrent
Kickasssunblock
Bitsnoop
Those off the top of my head def blocked by Sky, I can still get to Monova, my advice is keep trying all the links and you'll get there in the end, the process however is becoming increasingly more difficult. |

"Just downloaded frostwire, the quality of things on there is pretty rubbish. Can anyone suggest any good torrent sites to use? "
I do know a really good torrent site, but can't post it publicly in here, and your settings won't allow me to message you |

Trouble is these days is finding a site that your ISP has not blocked. I'm with Sky & they've blocked most. If you can't get Pirate Bay, then visit the equally big www.isohunt.to. They have millions of torrents. Almost anything you want, they have it. The best torrent download program is utorrent. Used them both for years. |

People who are getting frustrated with your ISP 'blocking' specific torrent sites, take a look at Immunicity - I've found using it (simply adding a line to the LAN settings in your browser) gets me back into any number of torrent etc places.
And back to the original point: I tend to favour kickass.to also. Isohunt used to be great but hasn't seemed the same since it got shut down and restarted... |

(m) If it's full length porn films that people are after to download, have a look at http://www.myfreepaysite.com. It's totally free to join & advertises a lot of different sex sites. After joining, look for the Members Area link on the home page & sign in. Your username is your email address. The site they have for free full length porn films is called "Flash Video Theatre". You can watch them online & if you like the films, you can download them using a web video downloader. I use RealPlayer or the Firefox video download add on to download them & then burn them on to a DVD using Nero, but there are quite a few different video download programs around. Our porn collection is getting quite big now lol. |

If you are going to be doing anything with torrents, a good VPN is required. This encrypts your traffic so that your ISP (or government) has no clue what you are up to, so they cannot "shape" your traffic (i.e. slow you down) or report you. I would recommend Private Internet Access... |

Virtual Private Network.
In laymans terms, it encrypts traffic so it's difficult to tell what's being transferred.
But with everything that we've heard from Edward Snowden about the NSA, you can just accept that UK.gov knows exactly what you do, and when you do it online.
ISP's shouldn't care what you're using the connection for, but they are under pressure from RIAA / MPAA to block/reduce torrenting, as it does infringe copyright.
However, rather than "nastygramming" their customers, they've put these blocks in place to satisfy the moaning lawyers. Only time will tell where things go from here. |

"google "Pirate Browser" unzip and surf silently and download to you hearts content... works under Virgin media et al who have blocked torrent sites"
Who would have thought I'd find the solution to my frustrations with Virgin Media on this site. Thanks for this mate.
I've written several angry emails to them about the increasing number of websites they're blocking. They basically told me to do one.
Looks like I will now be having the last laugh.
