Hi there can a single female and a single male have two profiles both having a single profile and a joint couple profile ?

Yes. As long as they aren't verifying their own couples/singles profiles.

Lots have a couple profile and use single ones for forum posting for example.

People can have as many profiles as they want on here, and do. All you need is a different e-mail address for registering purposes.
