I noticed that most ladies here dislike winks. Why? Is it not suppose to be part of the communication.

I actually don't mind winks from couples, they're just being tentative. But if a fella sends a wink I'm not sure what to do about that. I like self-assured guys so it's not a good start.

Just get hundreds and never look through them or friend requests x only messages alert my attention ( when I am looking to meet) x

They don't bother me,easy to ignore if I want to and no waste of time for the person sending a message that may get ignored

Some people do act like you've shat in their inbox if you send a wink though

Apart from chatting in the forum, After a wink was sent is the only time i have chatted to a woman/couple

Problem is they just don't stand out enough to get noticed. A good message is better.

I like winks and feel they are useful as an expression of interest in a profile.

I don't get that many but have had some good fun from sending and receiving them

I've sent a few by mistake while on my phone, one ended in a meet though! I winked at a guy once, he winked back so I messaged and he deleted it without reply, hmmm. A few weeks later he winked at me again, I ignored it as my eye was getting sore and thought he'd just got something stuck in his lol
