i have been in the bdsm scene for many years but have only recently been introduced to the swinging scene. i now know many people who are into both and im just wondering what people think are the major differences (apart from more need for actual sex)between the two. The bdsm scene uses swinging venues and i was suprised to see the well known bdsm venue The Umit listed and i was suprised to see so much bdsm going on in No3 the other night. The fab/fet crossover is one we should nuture i think as there are many common bonds. (pun intended) discuss (subdave42/subcuckpup fet) |

I have accidentally been to BDSM meets on a couple of occasions (didn't read the events listing properly) and my conclusion is that there is very little sex involved with BDSM. It all seemed to be about humiliation, subjugation and inflicting pain. Don't think I even saw an erect penis! |

where the world takes me |
Swinging led me to discover BDSM, i was always kinkier than most but through meeting people in the swing scene i realised how much i was.
Now i see the two as separate but linked, and BDSM has really enhanced the swinging side, since it's made me realise that i'm bi in the right situations and made me realise far more the type of person i'm looking to play with. |

many bdsm events are nonsexual as the venue isn't deemed appropriate for sexual activity. also, some don't wish to be sexual exhibitionists. and others don't mix bdsm with sex at all. its often thought to be about subjugation, humiliation, and pain but for many of us those particular elements are completely lacking. there are literally hundreds of different bdsm kinks other than those three. it's a very individualised mix from couple to couple. |

We are bdsm 24/7 but swinging we pick up and put down. (off more than on)
We tried using this site to find M's but got nothing but wannabe's and Mr Grey admirers.
We keep it very separate, the trust we have/need in kink isn't needed for nsa |
