We can't accommodate as our house is being renovated. We would therefore have hotel meets. Not sure there is anything odd about that, we know lots of people who do hotel meets.
And we don't expect anyone to pay for it either, weird thing to assume. |

I keep my home private and meet mostly in clubs.
There is no local travel only option on the site and I won't meet people from miles away as my comfort zone needs a social meet to see if there is chemistry before considering play... That can't work for me unless they are local as I don't want to unconvinience anyone, just find the right people for mutual satisfying and exciting experiences. |

I wasn't thumbing up the move on part. Nor do I think its weird what you boyh do....Just that she answered a question I often wondered about.
We never meet at our place, but always get a Hotel room for just in case even at a social meet, Better safe than sorry. Right now we have family living with us, but home just isn't somewhere I'd want to meet someone. Not unless they become a regular.
I just assumed when I saw can't accom/travel that they weren't meeting at the moment.... Clearly I was mistaken. Good to know. |

I can't accommodate as I have children and even when younger ones at school i have adult ones at home.
I can't travel far as I have to rely on buses.....all this is on profile for people to read |

Same here....I never meet without a social....dont play on socials either, can't expect people to haul their ass from timbuktu for a pint....dont meet socially in my home either.....I dont drive so anywhere I go is on public transport.....was invited to brum last night.....gonna have to go in the loft and dig out my MAGIC CARPET |

We can't accom after because of children , and we're not traveling two hours for a meet ( social or otherwise) or as one person wanted us too a 200 +mile journey , for us and a lot it seems can't travel means they aren't willing to drive more than ½ hour |

Not everyone is happy to invite someone they don't know/ hardly know into their nest.
If it goes wrong for any reason at all they know where to find you and your neighbours.

i don't accommodate for two reasons. firstly, i have a young child at home. secondly, i had a bad experience with a guy i met way back on another site who them decided that he could pop round any time he chose whether i wanted him to or not. one bad apple, and all that.
i say i don't travel as i have to stay locally in case school/sitter had problems and i needed to get home quick. |

We don't meet at home because we have kids,when we do hotel meets we pay would never expect anyone else to unless they themselves arranged it and we do travel but not too far in case of emergencies |

We do travel but we also meet guys in hotels in the nearby area. A hotel which we pay for by choice.
I think a lot of people do this.
Not everyone can have someone in their home, not everyone wants someone in their home. Not everyone has a car. It doesn't preclude them from the lifestyle.
If someone can find what they want with their criteria I don't see why it's such an issue for others. |

Sorry i am not saying there is a problem with not accomodating or travelling, my point is someone made the sarky remark that if people cant accomodate or travel then they are stopping in an hotel, my point was that even if you walk 20 yards you are travelling, it wasnt a criticism of peoples choices, we cant accomodate so woulde criticise |

Oh Ok get you I understand, but I think we all have an idea of what not travelling means. I doubt anyone means no further than the end of the garden lol.
For me not travelling would probably mean I'd stay within the city I live in, so half an hour away from home perhaps.
Travelling to me is when it involves real planning, that could be anything I suppose. |
