I started a post about 'celebrate curves' and as always a couple of people commented about me using the words 'skinny minny:' and let's celebrate all shapes and sizes etc....
I wasnt vindicating any shape or size I was merely celebrating MY preferred choice on MY thread if you want to celebrate other sizes...please start a thread...but can people on here stop commenting for commenting sake!! It sometimes puts unnecessary tension on a positive thread..  |

I welcome MOST comments with big long loving arms however I'm talking about 'unnecessary' comments almost pointless ones that don't add much, its like butting into a conversation with nothing to say or heckling a comedian and as always...losing |

Curvy is a shape not a size, a hour glass could be as big as your thumb or as big as your house and still be a hourglass because of it's shape. Curvy is the same. If you have boobs and hips/bum but have a waist smaller than both your curvy.
My simple thing with the whole size thing is who gives a monkeys?! Everyone has a "type" it doesn't matter what you define yourself as who cares!! If you are the guy who likes size. 6/8 slim girls that's your "type" it makes no difference if she clicks average/ fabulous/ curvy/ slim!! You will look at her pics and think wow she's hot and ignore her label, if you open up a profile and the girl is bigger than you like just click back and move on!! |

I'm all for celebrating curves, I have them according to the men I meet and that is because the men I meet are the ones I am attracted to and they me it seems. I am also sexy (according to those same men) down to earth, fun and not shallow (according to the people who know me well) but none of that other than the curves have anything to do with my body shape and I don't doubt there are women of all shapes and sizes who share the same attributes. Support curves and larger ladies by all means but there is absolutely no need to make derogatory remarks about women who do not meet your preference or to make sweeping generalised statements based on size/shape.
