the intricacies you're taking about would be thoroughly outlined and discussed before the sub ever agreed to be owned. it's unlikely the Dom in this scenario would expect a wife to refuse sex with her husband on a regular basis, though he or she may ask that sex doesn't take place within say....24 hours of the D/s play session. D/s relationships involve a looooooot of in depth communication between the people involved. |

Or 2 weeks of extreme edging where you're begging to cum and can't think straight because of the punishments you've endured in between....very intense things go on in these relationships from what I've heard. From being given daily task, being told what to wear, reporting several times a day the list goes on, so many think its only about sex.... While all this sounds extreme to some, there is still at any moment where the sub can say they've had enough. Most likely they've spent hours talking about the ins and outs of things! rules/boundaries/punishments etc. it's not for the faint of heart! The thing is if a sub is owned its because she wants to be.
Being owned means to give yourself to someone compleatly, and owning means to take full responsability for that person. Its powerplay. But in DS circles it can be relinquished at any time. They are not trapped as some seem to think.
My wife is owned and collared by me. She can stop at any point its her choice.
