Someone who is well proportioned and hasn't got layers of fat sagging everywhere. Just because someone's "big". Doesn't mean they should have a lot of flab. There are a lot of big girls on here I would love to get with. That doesn't mean I am into fatties though. I could find an example of what I mean, but can't be bothered for research now, lol |

Heather from eastenders and Carli Morris (from hollyoaks) from 4 years ago. I would say they weighed near enough the same and both girls are considered to be big when looking at them. I would say compare them, but can't find a photo of Carli Morris from 4 years ago. |

Men with huge round stomachs won't be attractive to me. We won't fit together properly and I'm not strong enough to hold up that much weight off my body when they lean on me |

I'm not saying they don't look good.
Just that fat would probably be a more reasonable definition than curvy. |

lol that's true. Fortunately Have no folds yet and don't intend to but someone pointed out that certain people should know the difference between curvy and ample... i got a little paranoid and thought he may have been referring to me!! :/

Was trying to explain that a woman can be big, yet still be considered as beautiful and sexy and there are some women who are big and won't push many peoples buttons. I could only think of the odd actress as an example. But as you posted you helped me get my point across

Think i'm a bit thick as not a clue how this commenting back on individuals reply works! derrr!! Thanks for all you comments and has helped me decide what i'm going keep my bodytype profile as... definitely curvy!! I am sure there will always someone begging to differ but i guess everyone have there own ideas as to what they see it as.. personally me myself think its a more fuller figure and basically well proportioned ... can't really ïdescribe it as anthing else really.. Anyway, FAB is like a sweetie shop and there is somebody for EVERYONE out there!!

Look at "Miss Special K Returns", Sazzz and FallenMadonna on here. They maybe considered big to others or even they may think it themselves, but they are gorgeous and will be considered as curvy. Cheryl Ferguson who used to play heather in eastenders won't be considered as curvy (unless she's changed since she left). She'd be considered as a larger lady. |

I am definitely fat, but when I wear the right clothes, I have curves. When I'm naked, my huge tummy rolls out and hangs over my cesarean scar.
Due to my ill health, I struggle to exercise, although I'm now doing hydrotherapy, but thats mainly to strengthen muscles, as physio killed me off! |

There are lots of us with curves on here. All different shapes and sizes. We don't all get mentioned or looked at. Lots of these threads over time, gets a bit wearing to be honest. |

How so? Anyone who is considered a size14and above depending on their height will in the eyes of society and its pathetic celebrity obsession with weight is rightly or wrongly considered this.
Example if your 6foot and a bird and a size 14 then your in proportion but if you are 5foot1 and size 14 you could be over weight. Google this and you will see that im not having a go whatsoever at fat or people precieved to be overvweight at being a a14. Just Google the stupid pluss size article in the daily mail |

I suppose it is different for every person, for me, as a man who loves curvy women, it isn't about dress size, it means nice big hips, big ass that's firm and soft at the same time... I'm a sucker for a curvy woman...

I think some people confuse being fat with being curvy. I will say I have nothing against larger women nothing at all  . But I think when one describes themselves try and be as accurate as possible. Not all BBW are necessarily curvy. I think you can be curvy at any size whether thats a size 8 or a 22. And you can also have no curves at a size 8 or 22. I suppose its all relative. |

If there was, I wouldn't use it. I think 'fat' is a harsh term and isn't a sexy word to describe a woman: it also has too many negative connotations (fat lazy, fat ugly...).
If we were doing private meets and I needed to inform potential playmates of my size, I'd say what my dress size was on our profile and provide a picture.
I wouldn't use the term curvy though as I don't think that describes me at all. |

To me curvy is slim with shape, when i picture curvy i picture someone like shakira not someone a size 16+, to me that's big not curvy, i don't think just because your hips are bigger than your waste your curvy, i have a waste in still fat, fat just comes in different degrees |

Someone with a chest size, waist size and hips size where they meet the general idea that chest and hips are bigger than waist and chest and hips are not too far different.
Small hips, huge tummy, small chest is not curvy. |

I think there should be a good 6 inch difference between you hips and waist for you to be curvy it's also about being an hourglass shape. I have never seen any one of a size 8-12 I'd class as curvy one of my friends is a size 18 5ft10 and perfect hourglass figure to most she is probably but she has no fat one her she's just very curvaceous. Think it's just yet another thing that boils down to peoples interpretations on the matter in hand x I do also agree though that curvy is a nicer way of meaning fat, curvy has always been a fat girls internet term |

Perhaps curvy is best defined as what a person looks like from a fully frontal perspective. If they encapsulate a near hour glass figure (large bust, a more dramatic swoop down to their waist, and then a re-widening at their hips) that sounds curvy.
For me, curvy starts to become fat when you factor in...more wobbly parts?  |

Yes curvy is a shape and comes in many different sizes. I put curvy on my profile but im also a big girl. Just lucky to have the fat distribution in good places lol |
