It sometimes annoys me when people put on their profiles no overweight people. What do they class as overweight?? Size 10/12/14/16.
I once asked someone the question on here what do they class as overweight and they told me there was a difference between a curvy size 14 and a size 14. I got confused so asked would they class mrs as overweight as had curvy size 14 on old profile. To be told they did not want to start being an agony aunt regarding weight. That wasn't our intention at all. Just wondered if it was worth wasting time chatting or not. Each to their own but it would have been worth knowing.
Easily confusing. What's everyone else thought about profiles with this on and if people do have this on can anyone clarify what they would class??

technically there is a difference between a size 14 for someone who is 5ft2 and someone who is a size 14 who is 5ft10...
however if they are that anal about it.... move on to the next people who wont give a toss about it......
you might win an arguement, its not going to change their minds.....

it's a tricky one as everyone's definition of overweight will be different.
dress size isn't a major indication as depending where you buy from the cut & finish can be dramatically different.
I'm a size 12/14 but in a cheaper shop can be a 16 because of my boobs! |

All I know is that I wouldn't mail someone that said they didn't want overweight people as I know they wouldn't want me. I'm not offended at all or bothered about what they might mean. |

I would say it's quite easy to understand. They don't want to meet anyone who's overweight?!.......it's quite obvious really. if you're a bit fat they don't want to meet you. |

Why do people get so bent out of shape on threads like this and start wittering on about how fat they are?
Would people get quite so uppity if someone said they don't want to meet blonde people?  |

Now here's the thing , if they don't want anyone overweight , any issues your wife may have with her weight will be immediately highlighted .
This is an unnecessary blight on her , which will do more harm than good .
There are so many on here who don't give a monkeys about a curvy woman .
Why even go there ?
The people who want slim women will find them and it's no bad thing at all .
They are perfectly entitled to their preference .
Why should they engage in an unnecessary conversation about it ?
If in doubt , leave it .... |

I feel myself more overweight than i used to be. That is mainly because i have switched from a standing job to an office job without switching my diet accordingly. Being overweight isn't abad thing so long as you are happy and the person you are with acknowledges it. |

Yep I'm pretty sure you're right but have to admit that it was before me. Overwirght is a very vauge term. For a few months before Christmas I had a bug or something and felt shit, just didn't have an appetite, lost loads of weight. Since then I've got my appetite back, feeling a lot better. A lot of people have said I look better now and that they were worried about me a few months back. I don't know what was wrong but now I feel good, had a health MOT and a full check at the GUM clinc, all is evidently good. I'm now buying jeans a waistband size smaller than 6 months ago so happy there. I'm certainly not skinny but not obese. When it comes to my taste in women, skinny normally doesnt't do it for me. Sorry if it seems crude but I like something to get hold of, plus up here in the frozen North you want someone to keep you warm  Dress sizes have little bearing on whether I find someone attractive or a turn on, more how do I feel it suits them. |

I have been turned down with the reason given being I'm blonde with blue eyes. I said thanks for being upfront about it.
Then again, I also accept it when I'm turned down because of my size, or for other reasons. A no is a no and the reason doesn't matter much. I'm not changing, if it's even something I can change, to get a meet on here. 
There are bigger things in life to be concerned about. |

Do the "fataphobic" profiles give allowances for different body parts or is it a sort of "total combined weight" demand?
I mean, what if you are skinny but have a big fat cock? Are you overall skinny or fat?
What if you have a gym fit torso but a massive fat head like one of those people off the old Tefal adverts? Are you gym fit or do you just have a fat head?
What if you have one skinny arm but your other arm is highly muscular due to an over indulgence of spanking the monkey? Are you a skinny or a fat wanker?
It makes swinging very hard for those of us who have highly disproportionate bodies

Proud to say that I have limited understanding of what women's sizes are. It is been explained (repeatedly) to me, but happily I still don't get it. In the past I would be the first to say 'no over weight women', but I have meet some larger women that have made me sooo hard because they were sooo sexy! Now, I just try to see first, then decide later. |

very rarely will you get any of the guys that play rugby much under 20 stone, yet, for most average guys, that would be classed as overweight, yet there isnt an ounce of fat on them.
being heavy isnt an issue.
i have always said i wouldnt care about being 20+ stone, as long as none of it moved lol

I guess its just another preference and everyone's interpretation of "overweight" is different. I'm obese according to my BMI, people can see I'm not skinny so its up to them to decide, I won't lose any sleep over it, I like the size I am

Most of the time the larger person is normally the one with the largest personality. Exceptions of course. However I have only dated or been out with women who are larger as it tend to be the above case. That and its just a coincidence that most thinner women tend to not like me haha!  |

I'm guessing they mean that the height makes a difference, for example a 6ft person size 14 would perhaps look slim whereas a someone 5ft tall and size 14 wouldn't |

As a bigger girl it doesn't bother me to see no overweight people. Like a pp said it will probably mean no muffin tops and bingo wings.
What gets me is those who get caught up in numbers. Size 14 can mean very very different things on different people.

I'm 5ft 9 and a size 12.......I have a massive hang up with my belly, it's big & flabby but the rest of me is ok. I would rule myself out if someone said no overweight people cos I'd be VERY conscious of my tummy |

Everyone to their own but for instance Kate Middleton oh my god she is getting to thin her legs as she got of the plane to New Zealand were awful like Boney far to thin give us Shapley any day curves = fun and Horny times ,hey but that's just us x |
