"We used to go out very regularly and hoped to see other couples. We only ever realistically saw men. "

I think that it maybe became very popular then suffered for it. A lot of the original places got so well known that not only did they get swamped with people you then got the police clamping down as well as silly boy racers etc trying to spoil the fun.
I think that it is more usual now if you are going out to organise it and arrange for others to be there.

Thats not what we are into. we much prefer the not knowing. We dont like arranging stuff.
Been doing it a long time now and seen a big change in the numbers from when we first started. |

I agree. Organised dogging is just outdoor swinging and, whilst that's OK, it takes away the anticipation of the unknown that makes dogging so exciting.
That said, finding more than one couple at a site at the same time isn't an everyday event.
Keep looking and good luck. |

I have only ever seen one couple in a car going for it.
But they wasn't really dogging they was just shagging each other in their car.
Nice to watch though |

The demise of dogging has coincided with the growth in numbers of swingers clubs and with the advent of the mobile phone and of course, the internet.
You can now meet other people in warm and comfortable surroundings. Far different to the old days when you would be sat freezing your bits off on a car park in the dead of night.
Dogging now is the preserve of those couples who anonymously want chance encounters, and are well aware that their audience will be 99.9% single men.
Plenty of coincidental circumstances have come together and the whole game has changed as a result. Evolution in action. |

"Does dogging still exsist? we still go out regular but dont often see others have tried a few various sites that have been fairly active over the past few years but recently its been dead."
It does exist.. maybe it'll pick up when it warms up. |

We tried to attempt our first experience but found it very intimidating when four guys turned up in the same car, they were no boy racers, so we cleared out, security is an issue with us . x |

I think it depends on your location, I know near me it has died a death and is very rare now and that is regardless of the weather.
I think the reason is that it's become very trendy and too public therefore 'people just turn up to spoil the fun ' or the police are aware of the locations and stop it.
Very sad as outdoor Fun is very liberating |

Yes it does exist but the internet have killed all known sites, all you have to do is google dogging and locations come up,we avoid those now and have done for years.
We have found a few places local that we now arrange to meet others x

What doesn't help the cause is the exposure in the newspapers (following on from the Stan Collymore incident) as well as the coverage on Channel 4 / Channel 5 in programs like Sin Cities or Dogging Tales which make out that doggers are some kind of sad individuals that the program makers can poke fun at. No-one looking at these programs would want to be thought of as being "one of them".
Maybe worse still is the exposure on the various "Adult Channels" that make you think that camera crews will be waiting for you when you turn up at your favourite car park. |

We would love to find somewhere for some outdoor fun but the only active place we know actually has to many men if there is such a thing lol
We would prefer a small group rather than a big one so we must be the odd ones out |

No, I think you're a normal doggi_g couple if there is such a thing. Looking for somewhere quiet with no more than 3/4 guys to play with.
Venues like that are few and far between. |

It can be all about the timing. Where I go, it is like rush hour on Spaghetti Junction between 7pm - 10pm, then it gets reasonably quiet up to about midnight, almost deadly quiet between midnight and 2am and then once all the clubs start kicking out, it gets a bit busier again between 2am until about 3.30am |
