If you meet someone and not looking to play alone anymore , can you still be on this site? And if yes why ppl being very rude when you reply to them that you not meeting. |

Circumstances mean we haven't met for 18 months now.
That's no bar to still using the forums. Chatting costs nothing and implies nothing.
It's ignorant people who insist that you have to meet if you want to participate in the site. |

Personally I'd make it clear in my profile that I'm not meeting so at least those that read profiles and don't go straight to the pix would be aware...any rudeness just gets a block  |

If you're not wanting to meet at the moment it's not a problem ~ you might want to add that quite clearly in your profile text though otherwise I'm sure you'll still get messages asking why. |

Your profile doesn't say that you're not meeting. They may have spent some time reading your profile and composing a nice mail, only for you to say you're not meeting....
If you delete everything off your 'looking for' list you won't show up on searches and that will cut down the mail. |

I don't mind them messaging i have started to talk to guys and still keeping in contact through site but if I reply / delete and get abuse back, that's what I don't understand. Sometimes feels like either way I'm in a wrong...  |

Well because of circumstances I only get to play once a week so it's about 9.75 a meet so I'm still proud  |

You can't control how people reply to you so just delete & block. Don't let it worry you x |

I used to meet with an old profile. I started this profile cos I missed the forums.
If a meet happens then cool.
But if I'm looking for sex, its much better to go out on a Friday Saturday night or use pof than it is on here!
So I'm here just for the forums too! |

Trust me on this, you can word your profile as bluntly as possible and quite a few folk won't take a blind bit of notice.
I changed to my current profile and started the counter in August last year. |

I no longer play singly - I simply changed my profile text, took all the search criteria off - and hey presto - problem solved.
Yes - it's a single guy profile - but fox did the same on hers and whilst she still gets a few chancers it's nothing like the days when we met separately.
A few simple changes - all of them non-permanent - and your problems will be solved. Leave your profile as it is and only the psychics will know you're not meeting right now.
