Nothing wrong with winking.
Assuming it's sent with no expectancy of a particular outcome.
Like messages - a wink entitles the sender to nothing - no return wink, no message and certainly not guarantee the winkee will be interested in the senders profile.

Why are they 'gods gift' ?
If you can read the message not to wink then surely you couldn't be surprised at the outcome?
People can post what they like on profiles. Often it's a great way of identifying those that actually read them as opposed to just looking at the pictures or carpet bombing everyone with winks, messages or invites! |

I am not saying I sent them a wink, far be it for me to disturb there tranquil little world, just saying you read it all the time. The wink option does seem to have become a pointless funcrtion.
Funny that someone quoting me has wink at us only if we have winked at you. FFS where do you get off? One rule for one and another for us is it? |

I am not saying I sent them a wink, far be it for me to disturb there tranquil little world, just saying you read it all the time. The wink option does seem to have become a pointless funcrtion.

A wink is just like a smile across a bar. Not sure why it offends many but it seems too from reading profiles.

I quite like a wink as a way of showing an interest and sometimes prefer them to a message but the lowly wink seems to have been trampled on by the "fab" |

Nothing wrong at all it makes the initial thing that shows a interest n then you can take it from there rather than writing a long message n not getting a reply
