They are lovely and they do feel nice but they are better for posing and wearing on a night out rather than for playing.
They aren't practical for lots of movement as they snag easily, they don't hold their shape as they sag around the knees and the seams twist. The worst is the snagging so they end up with lines on them. Lycra holds the stockings in place much better.
