we are finding ourselves laughing more and more at the number of people on here that either wink then fail to return any kind of message after we take time to send one, or even wink or message us then block before we have chance to reply?? we only really contact verified profiles that have been on here a while but still feel that there are a lot of people on here that lack either the confidence or ability to communicate or understand simple english   |

Same. I learnt to read and write properly at school, construct properly formulated sentences and have some social skills to put meaning and interest into my messages and I was surprised when I first joined here about 2 years ago at the low quality of written communication from people, mainly younger. It doesn't bother me that much now but it was notable.
My 'wanna shag?' messages are superbly crafted. |

Us too, we take the time to msg and say 'thanks for winking' and then quite often hear nothing back. We do move on and don't worry about it (before someone tells us that), but why wink in the first place!! |

99% of people here can't do conversations it seems! One word replies do not count as a message either! |

yes, never understand the wink-ignore mentality.
we like winks.
its almost like a nod or a smile at a bar.
if they smile back, then we will say hello, and quite similar the other way.
if someone smiles at us, and we smile back, say hi, and we can take it from there.
maybe some just accidentally click wink, dunno.
its a shame though cuz some of those that wink seem lovely |

the irony of the answers to this thread... its a thread pointing out ignorance that causes laughable annoyance, then its hi jacked by ignorants causing laughable annoyance because they are incabable of reading the op this just highlights exactly what we are struggling with on here ffs |

thats odd sending you a message then blocking you, maybe they thought you didnt reply quick enough.
i do get a lot of messages from people who i have a job to understand, the ones i have met as well, strange that they say they want to meet a couple then say to me at the last minite, they only want to see me on my own.
say one thing and mean another, its all very confusing.  |

As a man who always reads profiles (and enjoys doing so) I feel it's a shame that those who don't and send dumb messages or don't respond when someone has returned wink as it makes genuine people less likely to converse. |
