Nothing wrong with 'singles' meeting up for a fuck, which seems to the reason some people use well known dating sites as well
But is not the primary reason for fab and other similar sites not for people more than 2 to share fun?

The freedom of choice and non judgemental ( at times lol ) way of fab is appealing to singles who like the liberating lifestyle .

Lets face it, if a single woman wants sex she just has to ask.
If a single man wants sex, he has to jump through the same hoops in the swinging world and out of it.

Swinging means having sexual relations outside of a monogamous relationship. It doesn't matter if it's one on one or many on many. A couple who meet another for separate room swinging are still only having one on one.

We've got a (now) single girlfriend, that has more group sex than we do, as she plays with couples, she also plays with other singles in group situations.
Does that make her less of a swinger than what we are? 
Say in a club, if she goes into a room with 5 other singles, is that not swinging? or only if at least a 'pucker' couple is in there? |

Not essentially. If a couple meet with a couple and they swap and go to separate rooms there are only two people involved in each sex act and it's still swinging. |

it is an easy fuck site for some. Sex is the goal for everyone on here regardless of how easy or difficult it is to get. Some couples meet at the drop of a hat too you know when they find themselves with some unexpected free time. People meet in clubs and have sex without getting to know much about the people they are having sex with. Swinging came about long before we had the world wide web. This facility in itself has made it easier for people to get sex with a wider range of people and much more choice |

Trying to get an idea what people think.
In my relationship, I can swing but its not a pass to fuck everyone as its about swinging primary with perhaps a bit of BDSM training thrown in. I am not single in reality. Fb's would be ok but not for just another unswinger related fuck.

I joined fabflirts because I don't class myself as a swinger. I'm afraid that site didn't really take off so I find the singles here.

Totally agree! And who cares anyway???? Why does this occupy so many peoples minds? If people are happy and its fully consensual, what difference does it make? There is something for everyone. Clubs and parties offer couples only nights for couples who ONLY want to swing with couples. But there are also mixed nights, single nights too. So where is the problem? Just a few minority who want to stick a label on something that gives them a false sense of belonging!

Why the need to lable singles as swingers or not? We are all consenting adults. Singles are here for their own reasons. It really doesn't matter if they are single int he real world or not. We all have our own needs and likes/dislikes. Live and let live and play with those you like. Ignore or block those you are not interested. I couldn't care less what labels mean! Thats just for insecure people desparate for membership of an exclusive club they can belong to so it makes them feel special.
This is for everyone.
So 'membership' (for those in desperate need to belong!)... is simple:
1) Be an adult. That means over 18 and be capable of good manners and social skills / etiquette!
2) Have mental capacity to give and refuse consent as only you wish to, without coercion or pressure from others.
3) Be capable of showing respect to others and do so!
4) Have an enormous capability to have fun!!!
I would personally add cleanliness and safe sex but after reading a recent thread on bareback sex lovers .....I wont even go there!
Can everyone else throw their dictionaries away please? ??

I'm a bit confused as to why being a swinger is about your relationship status. If I were in a couple I would still like to be swinging, although with him rather than on my own....however I'm single so am swinging how I can. Yes some use the site as a hook up site and will admit they wouldn't continue to play if they had a partner (which is their choice) but some of us would like to find someone to share eventually...even if it's not something I'm specifically looking for right now. |

Even if that were true, so what? Are you suggesting singles not be allowed to join fab?
The single members of the site add to its popularity and help keep it running. A lot of singles pay for site membership and having a large, active membership attracts more members.
Without singles where would couples find people for threesomes?
Just think about how many couples are looking for a single bi fem and then tell me singles shouldn't be here.
Swinging has evolved beyond car keys in a bowl. Whether that extends to singles being included is clearly still debatable.
Personally I can't see why it matters as long as everyone is meeting the people they want to meet. |
