It's still stigmatized even though every other football player seems to sport a sleeve or two. I myself have had a few abusive messages regarding mine. |

I have one on my upper hip. I'm thinking of adding to it, it needs to flow a bit more. This is after swearing this would be my one and only. It's a centaur and a princess. It just seemed right. |

I know exactly what you mean but as this was taken from a bit of fantasy artwork it's a bit "blocky". For various reasons I don't want a tattoo to show. I don't mind them on display with others. The majority of people I know have them. |

tribal up my arm....because i was young, my tattoists brother needed a model for blackwork and i thought it looked cool, dragon on my back again because i was young and it looked cool.
peppa pig on my leg was picked by my ex girlfriends little girl as i promised she could choose me one.
heart on my chest clutched by a spider represents a friend of mine and the effect she had on my life.
i'm lucky enough to still love all my tats =) |

Not everything has to have a meaning, just had a peek at yours funseeker, your side is brilliant, I feel your pain though! Mine killed, did half myself and had another tattooist finish. wimp I know x |

Have 12 all together, a few meaningful family-related tattoos, a few script tatts, a cover-up of a name when my relationship split (I had to unless I wanted to only be with "DEANS" for the rest of my life - lol) and a few pretty girly hearts flowers and swirls tattoos!
Love them all and really addicted! |

I got a bon jovi tattoo on my face which means boy did I get seriously fucked up before hitting the tattoo shop,, , I started getting tattooed when you got what was on the wall of the tattoo shop no one thought about meanings etc ,designs, Even colours were limited ,the tattooist didn't wear gloves ,smoked ,how things have changed |

From the last few messages I think the overall opinion is definitely the ribs, I'm right handed, and being so my right side is stronger, has anyone found if their right handed their left side hurts more, and vice versa? I was like a scolded cat when getting my left side piece, yet right side I was almost sleeping (almost)

I'm pretty heavily tattooed. Both arms three quarter sleeved and a full back piece from base of neck down to back of thighs in progress at the moment. All traditional Japanese style. I think I've had over 50 hours under the needle so far and lots more to go! |

We love tattoos apart from j having our daughters names on her wrists we like big pieces stamp collections seem pointless j is having a chest piece in a couple months |

I have two, a tribal on one shoulder, arm and a more discreet ying/yang symbol on my other arm that is a subtle way to say I'm bisexual.
Tattoos are sexy. On a guy they seem to accentuate masculinity, on a girl they shout individualism.
No badly spelt ones though and certainly nothing home made with a dodgy mate! |

i have a full sleeve and a half sleeve,wrist w chest peice, kids names, both thighs, back of one leg, both inner ankles, one side of my neck and behind both ears
some have stronger more important meanings than others, All have story

mines are pretty easy to explain, my leg piece goes from foot and will go to my ribs, and extends across my lower back into a dragon that ties in my other dragons on my back and then will go down the other side |

Only got the one which I had fine for my birthday last year. Took years to pluck up the courage to get one and months to choose the right Lilly. The rest I designed myself. |
