Hello everyone!!!
Can anyone tell me why people feel the need to inform us that they are deleting their profile??
What do they expect?? A million messages saying please don't go??
If you wanna leave then just do it!!

I saw something week announce in a status she was leaving, the very next day, upgraded to a gold member  |

they want attention that's all and want everyone to talk them out of it or one person is paying someone else more attention and they don't Luke it , If I was to leave i wouldn't need to announce it I'd just go......and no not going anywhere  |

I left for a few months, without announcement just went, same as coming back on the site. Not everyone leaves for pity or attention, although with some it's like a revolving door. |

Or the ones whose status says stuff like: "Bored/tired of this website"
Two weeks later, the status is still the same and they're still here!

I think some of the posters of the messages stating they're leaving do it for attention and pity. Most of our kids have grown out of seeking pity by the time they get to school, and realise also that whining doesn't usually do much good.
The negative aspect of posting whiny 'I'm gonna leave...' messages is that it increases fab bandwidth costs, so uses money that could pay for site improvements. Every waster of a forum post is a reduction in the cash that gets spent on making fab even fabber (cringes, thinking about over-long forum posts I may have added etc). |
