Well the last time I did it its was so windy we were stuck on the boat an extra 24 hours - Could see North Shields but couldn't approach. Dont let that put you off - I had a great time. Enjoy! |

You,ll both enjoy it. Personally I/we dont drink on journeys so no can enlighten you on prices. I used Harwich to Hoek which is the shortest crossing with a train run to the Dam. Great place, beautiful city. Bring us back some seeds |

I went on one from newcastle a number of years ago.
it was a dfds boat I think. Cruised over night and then you got to spend the day in amsterdam.
my only wish was to visit a coffee shop whilst there so we did this first thing.
I purchased a pre rolled blunt and only smoked half it. Ended up throwing a whitey and spent the rest of the day following my ex wife round the massive c+a eating pick and mix!!
Still, it was my birthday present holiday |

We were on it last week and will be using it for our return journey on Monday.
A pint of Heineken comes at €4.50 and just over a fiver for a glass of wine. The only draught beers are Heineken and Guinness, everything else is in cans, so if you like a pint of bitter you are bolloxed.
On the good side the buffet dinner in the main restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast is quite good. |

It's about €4-5 per drink. They have john smiths and brown ale in cans as well as bottled grolsch and a few draught beers.
Personally I found the ferry the most enjoyable bit. But that has nothing to do with what happened in cabin 104 |
